"The harvest truly is great, but the labourers are few; pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he would send forth labourers in his harvest." Luke 10:2
Jesus commissioned His disciples to go into all the world and preach the Gospel to every creature and to make disciples of all nations.
We at BBF are committed to fulfilling our part in this commission. It is our desire to raise up for the work of missions mature disciples--servants who have faithfully ministered with this body of believers. Our goal is to send, assist and help support individuals God has called to the work of missions. We actively promote, pray for and participate in missions' endeavors.
In order to be effective in the lives of those whom God would call and send, we believe it is of utmost importance that our worship, our church life and our ministry of the Word be biblically based and as free form the traditions of our society as possible. Hopefully, those who then go from our midst to any cross-cultural ministry would go with a solid foundation to introduce biblical Christianity in any context.
for this reason we believe it is wisdom to refrain from including the traditions of holidays in our church life. We choose not to regard special days in our worship and church ministry; however, we encourage all individuals and families in the congregation to privately seek God's wisdom in the Scriptures and the Holy Spirit's leading for their personal conviction and direction in these matters.
